Surabaya Biomedical Journal is published three times a year (January, May, September) by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya. Surabaya Biomedical Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish high-quality research articles, reviews, and general articles across all fields of medical sciences. The Journal aims to bridge and integrate the intellectual, methodological, and substantial diversity of medical scholarship and to encourage a vigorous dialogue between medical scholars and practitioners. The journal's scope includes marine medicine, hyperbaric medicine, general medicine, dentistry, nursing, related health sciences, and pharmacy.

The Journal welcomes contributions that promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse among practising educators and medical researchers worldwide.

Starting October 2024, Surabaya Biomedical Journal has collaborated with the Indonesian Association of Anatomists (IAA). [View document]
