HUBUNGAN ANTARA KUALITAS TIDUR DENGAN SINDROMA MATA KERING PADA MAHASISWA SEMESTER 6 FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS HANG TUAH

AbstrakDry eye syndrome adalah kelainan dari tear film karenakan evaporasi berlebihan atau kurangnya produksi air mata, menyebabkan keringnya permukaan interpalpebral mata dan bisa menyebabkan kerusakan permukaan mata. Kualitas tidur adalah nilai kepuasan individu terhadap pengalaman tidurnya, dan dapat memengaruhi faktor risiko Dry eye syndrome. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara derajat kualitas tidur dan derajat Dry eye syndrome pada mahasiswa kedokteran semester 6 angkatan 2019 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian analitik observasional, data yang diperoleh dari pengisian kuesioner OSDI, PSQI dan uji Schirmer 1. Dilakukan kepada 65 responden mahasiswa aktif angkatan 2019 semester 6 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Spearman didapatkan hasil signifikansi derajat Dry eye syndrome (Schirmer) terhadap derajat kualitas tidur sebesar (p=0,197) sedangkan derajat Dry eye syndrome (OSDI) terhadap derajat kualitas tidur sebesar (p=0,162). Artinya variabel derajat kualitas tidur tidak berhubungan dengan derajat Dry eye syndrome. Ada hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan sindroma mata kering pada mahasiswa semester 6 angkatan 2019 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah pada variabel metode kuesioner PSQI dengan OSDI. Namun menggunakan variabel metode kuesioner PSQI dengan tes Schirmer 1, tidak ditemukan adanya hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan sindroma mata kering pada mahasiswa semester 6 angkatan 2019 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Hang Tuah.
